Dedicated Educators
The Learning Well Child Care was established on November 2008.
All of our educators are licensed with the state of Maryland. We hold a level three certification in the MD Excel program as well as a level five in the Maryland Child Care Credential Program. At LWCC we understand the importance of getting a jump start on education at an early age, so we strive to continue to achieve a high quality standard in our child care for our students, parents and community.
THE ROOT
Young children who go to Learning Well Child Care get the tools and support they need for their healthy development. All activities are carefully designed to adequately nurture the emotional, intellectual and physical growth of our kids. Through stimulating situations and hands-on learning opportunities, children are free to develop into bright young minds.
Our Mission
The Learning Well Child Care is designed to provide affordable, high quality childcare for children from infancy to school age without jeopardizing their health, safety, ethics or self who is enrolled in our program.
We offer a great developmentally appropriate environment and curriculum for all children with or without any disabilities. LWCC emphasize academic development through our daily lessons as well as interactive and age appropriate play. Each child initiated and teacher directed play and activities is an important part of our program, so our program is carefully designed to reflect all children’s interest, primary languages and to cultivate positive self-image, independence and interdependence. We also believe there’s always room for improvement, so we give every child and their parents a chance to insert a request or idea into our suggestion box. This way we know where and how we can improve our program.
As an educator I strongly believe that all children have the right to respect, regardless of their abilities, race, creed, nationality, sex, religion and physical condition. The LWCC provides an environment that is safe, stimulating and a curriculum that challenges every child enroll with us through creativity, self-choice and learning through play and direct play.
The LWCC strongly believe children is our most precious resource, so we owe them the safest, most loving and educational environment available; that’s why we aspire to encourage an ethic of social responsibility among all the children; Also we urge each child and their family to acquire and use their culture resources that can be implemented into our childcare.
OUR PROGRAM
We make sure there's a variety of activities in our learning centers to enhance each and every one of our students growth potential.
Planned activities / Events are all theme related. Our STEAM program and basic Spanish teachings are just a few enrichment programs we incorporate into our learning centers.
We Welcome All Children From Ages 6 Weeks to 10 yr Olds
HOURS OF OPERATION
MONDAY - FRIDAY
7:15 AM - 6:00 PM
We are not apart of the USDA Child & Adult Care Food Program,
but we do follow their nutritional guidelines to make sure that we are providing a well balanced meals, which is
breakfast, lunch and two snacks for your child.
